The short version

The numbers you enter stay on your own device. We do not sell your information and we do not show ads. We count visits in a way that does not identify you. When you buy, the payment is handled by a payment company, and we receive only a confirmation. If you write to us, we keep your message so we can reply.

1. What stays on your device

Brixyield remembers your inputs, the properties you save and your settings so that your work is still there when you come back. This information is stored in your own browser, on your own device. We do not receive it and cannot see it. If you clear your browser’s data, it is removed.

If you share a link to your analysis, the link contains the numbers you entered. Anyone who has the link can see those numbers, so share it only with people you trust.

2. What we collect

3. How we use it

We use information to run the site, to deliver what you bought, to reply to you, to understand which parts of the site are useful and improve them, to prevent abuse, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to make decisions about you.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with the companies that help us run Brixyield, and only as much as they need to do so: the company that processes payments (Stripe), Cloudflare (which hosts the site and provides our visit statistics), and our email provider. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores small items on your device only so that it works, as described in section 1. When you check out, the payment page may use its own cookies, which are covered by that company’s policy.

6. How long we keep information

We keep records of purchases for as long as we need them to give you access and to meet tax and accounting requirements. We keep messages for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable time afterwards. Visit statistics are kept in aggregate form. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, as described below.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop using it, by writing to the contact form on the home page. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within 45 days where the law sets that limit. We may need to confirm that a request really comes from you.

California residents. Under California law you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request that it be deleted or corrected, and to be treated equally if you use these rights. We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined in California law. We do not respond differently to “Do Not Track” signals because we do not track you across other sites.

Everyone else. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights over your information. Write to us and we will do what the law requires. The paid features are sold only to customers in the United States.

8. Visitors from other countries

Brixyield can be used from anywhere. The companies we work with may process information in the United States and in other countries, which may have different data protection laws from your own.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect information. No website or service can promise perfect security, so please be careful what you share.

10. Children

Brixyield is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, please tell us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will say so on the site.

12. Who we are and how to contact us

Brixyield is operated from California, United States. Questions about this policy or your information: the contact form on the home page.
